‘Smart’ Phones

In anticipation of the premiere of Get Smart, take a look at some interesting devices that double as phones.
Haier P7 Pen Phone
Tiny, but powerful, this pen can almost mimic a cell phone. It sends and receives calls, of course, but it is also compatible for text messages, taking and sending digital photos, playing games, and voice recording. It is a serious pen for serious spies.
I would love to own a phone like this. The problem is that I lose pens. Constantly. Can you imagine the treatment this little bugger would receive from someone like me? Always calling him, wondering where he is, when he’ll be home, if he’s thinking of me…
Not to mention that this little gadget will set a person back around $300 bucks, not including service.
The Belt Phone
While it may look spiffy, the belt phone merely baffles me. How do you use it? Is the phone actually built into the belt, or is it merely clipped on? If the latter is the case, then I would have been a millionaire by now had I patented the idea.

The Shoe Phone
Okay, this simply does not exist. Here’s a sneaker with a phone built into it.

I’m not too sure I get the point of the belt phone. Why not wear a normal belt and buy a clip or holster or whatever for your phone? Do you have to unbuckle the belt to get to the phone? How awkward would that be?
The pen phone looks cool, though. I might lose it, but it would be awesome while I had it.

Somewhere I read about an underwire bra phone – tag line “giving you support you can count on”. Where can I buy one?
