The 2015 McFly Sneakers May Become Retail

Remember those cool Nike high-tops that Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future II? The ones that laced themselves and you wished you had a pair just like them? It is rumored, Nike is releasing the Marty McFly 2015′s as the Nike Hyperdunks. They won’t lace themselves, unfortunately, but will be made of Nike’s super light-weight materials.

Ran by Canadian brothers Michael and Charles Maloof. The McFLy 2015s, “are considered by sneaker nerds as the Holy Grail of all sneakers”, but never made it into production, although they were patented by Nike. The project aims to convince Nike that the world wants this shoe.

While it’s cool to know that a version of the shoes will become available, there’s one thing about this development that’s a bit bothersome: Kobe Bryant is the main spokesman for the sneaks. Is he struggling for endorsements or something? Seriously!

Head over to the official site to sign the petition and get the retro-futuristic line of shoes on the production line. The MyFly 2015 Official Site
