Fracture Demo (Xbox 360)

This game holds some promise, I’ll definitely rent it, but considering all the A-list titles coming out this fall, I would strongly caution shooter fans from buying this. It shapes itself up to being another Army of Two type of game, although I don’t even know if coop will be as good as that title.
This title definitely has some worthy assets though: solid graphics, nice basic weapon availability, excellent and enjoyable object interaction, and overall fairly enjoyable gameplay. It is the last thing that some gamers might not like. Try the demo out for yourself, and you might just get the same feeling I did: is there something missing? Is this a B-List version of a sci-fi shooter like Gears of War?
I look forward to renting it, but it’s at the bottom of the list. In two or three weeks, and continuing on through holiday season, the market is going to be flooded with solid, and most likely groundbreaking, A list titles, so I would definitely hold off on buying this until next spring, when it will be $3.99.
