InfoMania is a program that airs on Current TV, and it is where Sarah Haskins quests to ridicule and expose ridiculous marketing trends aimed at women in her segment entitled, “Target: Women.”
The segments are usually 3-4 minutes long, and subjects have ranged from beauty products, plastic surgery, television programming, advertisements, and politicians. Sarah, through her awkward humor and willingness to make fun of herself, focuses on the insulting trends of today’s media as they prey upon gender stereotypes.
“What women want,” seems to be a frequent theme, all too readily answered with a WetJet, some Botox, and a piece of chocolate. This week, Sarah tackles the marketing trend surrounding womens’ hair. Enjoy:
