I've read pcweenies for a long time now, but I think my favorite one in recent memory is "The 10 million gamble" about the Seinfeld commercials.
http://pcweenies.com/2008/09/08/the-10-million-gamble/

I've sent it to everyone who complained/questioned the ads. They all laughed as much as I did. Great stuff!
Love the site, it's on my daily bookmark list. =D

I kinda do this too. Also I try to avoid them by looking busy, carrying a big random box of something I'm not going to buy, or sometimes even running away when I know they are coming toward me.

My favourite comic is a tossup between two but this one narrowly edges in first. 26/06/2008 bonus-strip - bills last day
This is my favourite because of the three day effort that was going from Vegas editor to WMM to help with a friends final assessment for year 12 (final year in school in AUS). Not a day I like to remember.

The second choice would be 2008/06/30/ unwritten rules of the game. I send this to a couple of buddies also involved in IT and it circulated in at least 4 office buildings.

It has to be "Early-Riser" September 10th, 2008.
Easily my favorite because its happened to -everyone-
Thats like a weekend thing for most people, I know I did that several times.
It was so amusing because I got up, it was still dark, so I get ready, then bam:
Its freaking 8:00pm.
Kudos!

January 18th, 2008
The Usual Suspects

The definitions are so spot on accurate. Had me cracking up at my desk. I've literally encountered every single one of these characters at several of my old jobs now. Thank god I moved into consulting. I'm a network engineer at a small consulting place, and the amount of case examples is much smaller (though I still encounter them) then working level 1 tech support. The worst is the hoverer, man, especially if its a higher up, and you hate having people stare at you while you're doing your job. That's just the worst. Little annoying bombardment questions while you're trying to figure out how they messed up their equipment.

i looked at a lot of the strips and the one i liked the most was called saturday bonus. i liked that one a lot because it deals with your job, when you work some where for six days of the week and its your day off the last thing you want to do is go back to that evil, wretched, dark place...

The original Saw is a masterpiece of horror. Each new sequel that is spawned threatens to taint the originality and ingenious of the first. But, just like many other horror franchises, it is for fans to remember how good the first was, and still enjoy the continued tale.

I viewed Saw II and was greatly disappointed. Yes, there was the twist at the end, but it didn't have any of the raw WTF factor that the first did. True, there was the pit of needles, but I attribute my nauseated reaction as simply a deep-seated fear of shots...

Ahhhhh! Beginning October 1st of every year I begin The Rounds in celebration of the greatest month of the year (imho). Each year I revel in my tried and true favorites (including but not limited to Young Frankenstein and the Alien saga, etc) and try to add a new classic or two each year.

Poltergeist ruined me for clowns, eeeeck! O_O I had a stuffed toy with super long arms just like that freakin' clown. The *minute* we got home from the movie theater I triple garbage bagged that thing, tied not less than 2 dozen panicky little kid super knots, and buried it in my mom's closet under a pile of boots. There it stayed for over a year. To this day I still avoid clowns, creepy with a capital CREEP.

I agree with your scariest moments, but I was also highly freaked out by the pink fleshy tentacles (....oh man, still icks me out just thinking about them) that grew out of Carol Anne's closet as it became the Gaping Maw of Certain Death.

Awesome review! :-)
